International Exchange and Cooperation

College of Construction Engineering is committed to building an open and internationalized schooling environment. In recent years, we have established long-term and close cooperative relationships with more than 20 universities and research institutes from the United States, Canada, Greece, Russia, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Denmark, Jordan, Estonia and other countries and regions in the areas of scientific research, academic exchanges and talent cultivation, etc.


We established 1 innovation and intelligence base "The 111 Base" of higher education disciplines and 1 internationalization demonstration base of Jilin University, which provides a financial guarantee for international cooperation and exchange work. Over the past three years, more than 100 experts and scholars from overseas institutions have come to our college for exchange and visit, and nearly 300 teachers and students from the college have gone abroad for short-term visits, study abroad, participate in international academic conferences and scientific research cooperation, etc. The college has joined one international organization and established 1 university-level international cooperation base.


In terms of international joint cultivation of students, 4 joint cultivation agreements were signed with the University of Kentucky in the United States, Ecole Centrale de Nantes in France, and RWTH Aachen University in Germany. For academic and scientific research cooperation, led by our College, we have signed Cooperation Agreements and Memorandums of Understanding with 8 famous foreign universities and research institutes, including GEOLOGICAL SURVEY OF DENMARK AND GREENLAND, MYKOLA POLIAKOV INSTITUTE OF GEOTECHNICAL MECHANICS, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, University of Kentucky, and École Centrale Nantes. We have introduced 5 overseas high-level talents and hosted 13 international academic conferences, symposiums and lectures. The international cooperation and exchanges have been deepening, the forms of cooperation have been expanding, and the international academic influence has been improving.


Professor Talalay won the Chinese Government Friendship Award, and Professor Markov won the Jilin Province "Changbaishan Friendship Award".
